Opening - April 11th: All you wish to eat Saturday breakfast ($). Pat and Jean will serve, especially for the fishermen, from 5:30 AM till 9 AM. Play board games in Paradise hall, rotating tables.
April 19th: All day scrap booking! Beginners to Advanced welcome. Bring pictures, create a "Story Card" free. Consultant on site; supplies($) Fishing contest for the kids and young at heart!
April 26th: Register for our 9th Annual Chili Cook-off and decorate your “Chili” site. Taste and judge all the special recipes. Bring a desert to share for the evening social, and the winning Chili Trophy.
May 3rd: Camper Appreciation Weekend. $10 off total weekend camping fee in honor of Family Camping Month. Family Scavenger hunt. NASCAR event.
May 11TH: Happy Mother’s Day. Treat your Mom. All MOM’S eat breakfast free, prepared by Pat and Jean. Mary Kay Make over with before and after snapshots! Welcome the Kings Messengers Gospel Group.
May 17th: Golf Cart Activity – Fun for everyone. We supply the golf cart. Two person teams sign up in office. Driver must have valid license.
May 24th: Pool Opens for the season. Saturday - Campers yard sale; Randy Simpson Music Ministry. Sunday – Survivor Challenge VII; Jazzy Jeff DJ evening entertainment. (3 night minimum)
June 1st: Build a birdhouse with Builder Bob!!($)/dd>
June 7th: Parent/Child/Grandchild Roll reversal!!! Dress, act, play, sing, dance, fuss, for the whole day!! We’ll be watching you!! Prizes!!
June 14th: Father’s Day – 9th Annual Sailboat Race for your homemade vessels; (call for rules and regulations). Bring a covered dish to share and Treat Dad to our Pig Roast ($). DAD’S eat free!!
June 21st: EMS FAMILY WEEKEND. BE PART OF THE “PARADISE STREAM FIRE CREW”. HANDS ON ACTIVITY FOR EVERYONE ON FIRE SAFETY. GAMES, PRIZES, LOTS OF FUN!! Sonday 10: AM Welcome back the young adult music ministry of “CROSSFIRE”. You enjoyed them last year, so they are back for you 3 times this year!!
June 28th: Bingo weekend.
July 4th Celebration: Begins on Friday Evening. Welcome back Randy our Karaoke / DJ Motor Mouth. 10th Annual 4th of July Parade on Saturday – Trophy’s. Traditional Amish Chicken Bar-b-que ($) followed by DJ Entertainment Sat. evening.
July 12th: Local Amish School Benefit. Quilts, home made food and crafts, flowers, antiques and much more - just 2 miles from our campground.
July 19th: CHRISTMAS IN JULY! Lights on for site decoration contest; (seasonals judged separately from non seasonals). Bring a gift for Santa to give to your child. Enjoy Bob’s Christmas display in Paradise Hall, celebrate with an Evening Ice Cream Social, we supply the ice cream you bring a Christmas topping!! Welcome Crossfire Sonday Morning!!
July 26th: Mystery dinner ($). We will need reservations 1 week in advance. Everyone can attend. We will have more than 1 seating.
Aug.2nd: Hill Billy Weekend and Kids Gold Rush in Sherman’s Creek Dress your Hill Billy Best for our Hillbilly games and the Hillbilly Bands you put together for our Saturday Evening Entertainment!
August 9th: BATTLE OF THE WATER GUNS!!
August 16th: Board games and Bingos.
Aug. 23rd: Wear your favorite driver’s shirt or hat and receive $2 off each camping night this weekend. Games and prizes. NASCAR night at the Races.
Aug. 30th: Labor Day Weekend. Final sale of tickets for Amish made quilt. Annual St. Jude Benefit Weekend. Over $5,000 was raised for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital last year. We accept gifts all season to add to this special evening. Together with our local merchant’s donations, your items for the white elephant table, new items for the silent auction table, baked items, and playing Casino games with purchased play money, we can top that amount!! Sunday evening DJ Jazzy Jeff is back. Join us and have a wonderful time. (3 night minimum stay)
Sept. 6th: Dinner down on the Farm. Bring a covered dish to share and spend a lovely time with our Amish neighbors.
Sept. 13th: Afternoon games for everyone in Paradise Hall.
Sept.20th: Make your own Scarecrow-bring old clothes, we supply the straw! Enjoy Saturday evening spaghetti dinner. All you wish to eat ($), ice cream for desert.
Sept.27th: Halloween Weekend #1. Bring a pumpkin to carve and decorate at your site. Dress up for trick or treat and costume contest- most original, scariest, funniest and cutest. Best Site decoration contest (Non-seasonal and Seasonal categories). Our “Seasonal Scare Team” has added even more to this year’s hayride to make you REALLY SCARED!! Must be a registered weekend camper to purchase hayride tickets.
Oct. 4th: HALLOWEEN WEEKEND #2—SAME AS WEEKEND #1 Must be a registered weekend camper to purchase hayride tickets.
Oct. 10th - 12th: Sherman’s Valley Heritage Days. Blain has full schedule with lots of your favorite foods this weekend-just 5 miles from your Paradise Campsite.
Oct. 18th: Welcome to our Oldies-but Goodies Dance. Dress in your favorite outfit (or not) and enjoy DJ Jazzy Jeff’s music you request. Dance contests for kids of all ages, root beer floats and Hot dogs! Take time in the afternoon to visit our local merchants and begin your Christmas Shopping!! We have a list and route map.
Oct.25th: Our seasonal cooks invite you to our end of year Pig Roast and special music to finish this season in the Crisp Perry County Autumn at Paradise Stream.
Bingo beginning April 28th through Sept. 22nd every Friday evening. Saturday afternoon hayrides begin April 28th through Sept. 22nd, weather permitting
